Mr. Collison is the President of Industrial Systems. Troy has experience in PLC and HMI design and programming, project management, and construction inspection. Project fields include bulk material handling, detention facility systems, water and wastewater SCADA and control systems, and many different industrial process control and automation applications. Troy’s automation and SCADA projects have included many brands of programmable controllers and computer graphic interface systems, and have operated from simple pump stations to entire manufacturing facilities and municipal districts. Troy has been a certified GE Fanuc PLC and HMI instructor since 2000.

Jim Mitchell, P.E.

Mr. Mitchell has extensive experience in project management and cost control of electrical projects. He has been involved in the design and specification of commercial and industrial electrical projects for more than 35 years. Mr. Mitchell is an experienced electrical utility system planner and designer. Since 1967, he has been actively involved in outdoor station layout, bus work and grounding as well as indoor control, relay and wiring projects for industrial and utility projects. He has provided professional electrical design services on several corporate headquarters and campus-style R&D and manufacturing facilities. Mr. Mitchell has been particularly active in the planning and design of technology intensive facilities involving computer and telecommunication systems. Projects are characterized by heavy electrical loads and the need for extreme flexibility as program requirements change with technology.

Mike has 7 years of design and programming experience for industrial control systems. His past experience includes projects in pulp and paper, boiler systems, power generation, chemical processing and material handling. Since joining Industrial Systems Mike has focused on control system design and PLC programming for bulk material handling systems and pumping applications.

Mr. Wirfs has extensive experience in design and construction supervision services for power, indoor and outdoor lighting, and control systems including medium voltage systems for industrial, commercial and governmental facilities. His design experience includes specialized systems using standby generators and/or uninterruptible power supply systems for critical loads, energy efficient lighting systems, fire alarm systems and design of programmable controller based logic systems for industrial process controls, including development and installation of software.
